Function+Fitness Program
Our Function+Fitness program is growing in Massachusetts as many more athletes who participate in our summer High-Challenge Sports program are training with us in this year round program. In Florida, many of our athletes are participating in our High-Challenge Sports program year round.
When you call us at 617.303.2459, we will recommend a specific program and location that suits you best.
PERSONAL TRAINING
Our Personal Training in the gym focuses on increasing function and reducing pain. A medically prescribed year-round work-out, the program is designed for each athlete to gain higher function in life. Small groups of four athletes paired with four Function Trainers meet weekly or biweekly in local gyms. The group works out with free weights, exercise machines, and cardio vascular equipment challenging but rewarding for anyone of any physical or mental capability.

CONDITIONING & SOCCER Conditioning & Soccer is a weekly, ten week training program that culminates in a Tournament. Athletes with various disabilities are on teams with able-bodied players, who help with core and lower body strengthening, stretching, speed, agility, and soccer skills. Our goals are to have fun and to engage our athletes on a higher functional plane all while enjoying this great community of athletes and training partners. We work on adaptations to make the experience challenging but rewarding for anyone of any physical or mental capability.
